Wait, let me backtrack, what is a Florida Man? A “Florida Man” is a person who does crazy things (like wrestling an alligator) usually in Florida. These happen frequently, but some can be more sad or terrible than funny.
Apparently, this meme originated in February of 2013 with the Twitter (X) account of @_FloridaMan posting. There’s even a television series on Netflix named Florida Man, perhaps riding on the popularity of this phenomenon.
