Visit New Brunswick!

Visit+New+Brunswick%21

There are so many fun things to do in New Brunswick, New Jersey!  Since we live so close, many people don’t realize it!

First, there’s a park called Johnson Park, which when I was there, has a waterfront which leads to a long river.  You can also go to the grassy trails which also lead to the sand and water.

Every year, the clinic always asks my family (since I go there because I had cancer) to get new toys for their toy chests. It’s a great way to help kids!

Need to head somewhere?  The train station is for you!

Rutgers Footbal field is also a great place for fun!

All that sightseeing must make you hungry.  Well, for lunch, you could eat some Mexican food at this place called Tacoria!  Then head over to the sweet shop which actually has fudge.

Finally you should DEFINITELY head to Insomnia Cookie, (insomnia: hard to fall asleep) which is open from 11AM-1AM.  They have cookies, blondies, brownies, brookies and even ice cream!  They have dippers, mini and regular size and ice cream sandwiches.  They even have a Cap’n Crunch cookie!

But of course you need actual ice cream, how about a place called “Thomas Sweet”.  They have tasty flavors, wet and dry toppings, sundaes, banana splits and even have ice cream and waffles!

But still, if you’re on any season break, this is a great area to visit!
