Patacones!

Food, it’s the thing that makes people happy, especially me.

One of my favorite is patacones, and to you people that say “Ewwwwwww! That sounds gross”  WELL It’S NOT!! It is a delicious bundle of joy.

So if you’re excited here I am to make your day and give you the recipe. Now finally after all my yapping about this let me actually give you the recipe.

First you go to the store and get plantains which are those green things that look like bananas.

When you get home, clean the plantains and peel them.

Later cut your plantain into small slices, and for this next part have an adult near you.

Put some oil into the pan before you turn it on and then just place them in the pan. Be careful not to burn yourself !

Let them cook until they’re soft and take them out carefully and squish them with either a mug or a special tool.

Put them back in and wait, once they look crispy take them out and season them with some salt.

For more flavor, you can add your favorite cheese.

Now you have your perfect patacones.

I hope you enjoy them!
