Ecuador had a FANTASTIC win on October 12, 2023, against Bolivia, they won 2-1.
They started missing goals back and forth and it seemed that they would never score. Right before half-time at the 44-minute Kendri Paez, number 16 sunk a goal into the net.
Ecuadorians all over the world cheered for their extraordinary player, setting history as the youngest player on the Ecuador men’s national team to score a goal in the World Cup qualifiers.
Although they did score a beautiful goal by Ramollo at the 82-minute, Ecuador stayed strong. When everything seemed lost they still had hope for the team. At the 95-minute mark with only a few seconds left star player, Kevin Rodriguez scored for Ecuador.
The country was filled with joy to know that they had won this very important game. They are filled with anticipation waiting to see if their national team will make the World Cup games.
