The Devil’s Stanley Cup Hopes Are Still Alive

Derek Mateo, Newspaper Staff Reporter

The New Jersey Devils had an amazing season this year finishing in second place behind the Carolina Hurricanes.

In addition, they won their first playoff round since 2012. They snapped the 11 year streak of not making it to round 2 of the playoffs. They defeated the New York Rangers.

The Devils continued through the playoff series 0-2 but then they came back and won game 7.

Right now the Devils are down 1-3 in their series against the Hurricanes. Devils are being destroyed by the Hurricanes. Each game, the Devils are losing by more than 3.

The Devils seem to be having trouble with their goalie situation because they can not save the puck right now.

Hopefully the Devils will pul off a win tonight to head further toward the Stanley Cup.
