The 2023 Grammys

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards was held Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at 7:00 PM EST.

For Record of the Year, the nominees are “Don’t Shut Me Down” by ABBA, “Easy on Me” by Adele, “Break My Soul” by Beyonce, “Good Morning Gorgeous” by Mary J. Blige, “You and Me On The Rock” by Brandi Carlile Featuring Lucius, “Woman” by Doja Cat, “Bad Habit” by Steve Lacy, “The Heart – Part 5” by Kendrick Lamar, “About Damn Time” by Lizzo, and “As It Was” by Harry Styles. 

The winner of the Record of the Year was “About Damn Time” which was made by Lizzo. The winner of Album of the year was “Harry’s House” which was made by Harry Styles.

The winner of Song of the Year was “Just Like That” which was made by Bonnie Raitt. The winner for best new artist was Samara Joy.

The winner of Best Pop Vocal Album was also “Harry’s House” which was by Harry Styles. The winner of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance was “Unholy” which was won by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

The winner of Best Pop Solo Performance was “Easy on Me” which was made by Adele.

The winner of Best Dance/Electronic Music Album was “Renaissance” which was made by Beyonce. Beyonce was also named the winner of Best Dance/Electronic Recording was “Break My Soul”.

The people that rocked performances at the Grammys were Bad Bunny, Bradi Charlie, Harry Styles, Kim Petras, Lizzo, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Sam Smith, and Mary J. Blige.

Harry Styles was very energetic while he was performing. Lizzo was definitely a crowd pleaser when she performed.  Bad Bunny was the opening performance, and he was for sure an all time crowd favorite. 

It was definitely a great night for music!
