Best Tik Tok Drink/Food Items

In 2016 a Chinese company opened Tik Tok, it grew rapidly. During 2020 at the spike of Covid 19 and quarantines, hundreds of people flocked to the Tik Tok app for food suggestions/recipes. Most of the recipes were good until October 2021 when a Tik Tok user named Emily Mariko came up with the new recipe called the salmon rice bowl.

The ingredients of the salmon rice bowl are as follows, 1x Salmon filet, leftover white/brown rice, Soy sauce, Sriracha, Kewpie Mayo (Japanese Mayo), Roasted seaweed sheets, Avocado, Kimchi (Optional)

Directions

  1. Prep air fryer to 390 degrees fahrenheit. Place salmon in the air fryer basket and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to your liking. Air fry for 7-9 minutes, you may have to cook it for longer depending on the thickness of your salmon.
  2. Shred your salmon and place it into the bowl until it is broken into small pieces
  3. Add your uncooked rice over the salmon
  4. Place an ice cube directly in the middle of the rice, place parchment paper/paper towel and place into the microwave on high for 2 minutes
  5. Remove rice bowl from microwave and discard, any remaining ice
  6. Add soy sauce, kewpie mayo, and sriracha to your liking, mix until rice is combined with the salmon
  7. Top with diced avocado, sriracha, soy sauce, and seaweed strips.

Make sure to enjoy the salmon rice bowl and clean up as you go to ensure easier clean-up at the end.

During covid 19 there was another side of food Tik Tok, drink Tik Tok. The best Tik Tok drink by far is creamy lemonade. The recipe goes as follows.

  1. Crushed ice
  2. 1-2 Large lemons, thinly sliced
  3. 4 large lemons, juiced
  4. ¼ Cup sweetened condensed milk, or more, to taste
  5. ½ Cup granulated sugar
  6. Water, approximately 2 cups

  1. Fill a half-gallon pitcher halfway with crushed ice. Top with sliced lemons
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour the lemon juice mixture over the ice.
  4. Fill the pitcher with water and stir to combine. Serve immediately.

Creamy lemonade is good for hot summer days and warm summer nights.
