In 1925, the first K-Pop album was released worldwide. K-Pop over the years has gotten very popular, now there are over 100 K-Pop bands.

“Don’t be trapped in someone else’s dream.” said V who is a band member of BTS while he was on the “Love Self Tour.”

K-Pop or as other people call it Korean Music was made in Korea. One of the most popular K-Pop bands is BTS or Bangtan Boys. Their top git sound was called “Boy with Luv”.

K-Pop first went viral when it was played on the radio but then when YouTube started it became even more popular because of the videos they could put with their music.

The one thing that people might forget about these idols is the hardship they have to go through everyday until they perform. They work and train for at least 18 hours a day, starting their days at 4 or 5 in the morning.

K-Pop idols can weigh no more than 130 pounds. They have to be on a strict diet meaning no processed food only whole foods.

“I couldn’t handle my diet, and ended up sneaking out at night to go to the convenience store and bought  all the snacks.”said Yulhee who was a former member of LABOUM when she got interviewed for Radio Star.

Overall K-Pop is now a worldwide known thing and some people love it and some people don’t.
