The Eagles Win Super Bowl LIX

The Super Bowl has concluded, and the Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts (Eagles) won the Super Bowl MVP, with a stellar performance with 221 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown. On the other side, quarterback Patrick Mahomes struggled, with two interceptions, including a “pick-six” to rookie defender Cooper DeJean. 

While the Chiefs were looking to win three Super Bowls in a row, with the term of “three-peat,” the Philadelphia Eagles took revenge from the Super Bowl two years ago. The Eagles were leading 24-0 at halftime before the Chiefs got on the board with a touchdown in the third quarter.

At the end of the day, the Eagles were the pure dominant team, and it showed. Next year, the Eagles will try to build on the success and the Chiefs will try to get revenge.

Shaan Mahajan is in 8th grade. The 13 year old has attended CMS for 3 years (Colonia Middle School). He gets good grades and likes history. What he likes about the subject is learning about the people who made America the way it is today. He is not a fan of language arts, but loves writing. Shaan is obsessed with American football and soccer. Mahajan is on the Metuchen-Edison YMCA swim team. He likes to play video games like Madden, EA FC, Rocket League, and Forza Horizon and in his free time is a huge car fanatic. He wants to be an entrepreneur when he grows up.
