The popular K-pop boy band, BTS, have been drafted into the military!

Korean law requires all able-bodied men to serve approximately 2 years in the military by the time they turn 30.

Though other celebrities, such as medal-winning athletes and high-level classic musicians have been exempted from this law, pop musicians don’t apply.  All seven members will serve their time over the next several years.

Upset fans have taken to social media to express their emotions and complaints.

Their company said they will be returning to the stage and making music in 2025.
