It had been 30 years since the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Championship. They finally in early 2021 won and made Milwaukee proud.

“This moment is special. Growing up as a kid watching KG vs. Kobe in the Finals, LeBron all those years, so being able to be a kid from Little Rock, Arkansas, being able to represent myself, my team, this organization, my family, and my state on the biggest stage in basketball is remarkable man,” Bobby Portis, (Power Forward for the Bucks) said after winning the NBA Championship.

“I could go to a super team, and just do my part to win a championship. But this is the hard way to do it, and we did it,” Giannis Antetokounmpo, Center/PF for the Bucks said in a press conference.

The Milwaukee Bucks had won the Championship last year but aren’t off to a good start this year with a record of 6-7. The Bucks need to pick up the pace if they want back to back titles.

It was hard to watch as the Bucks lost to the Spurs 102-93. The Spurs aren’t the greatest team in the NBA so it was sad to see the Bucks lose to them.

“In order for you to keep getting better, you have to face some adversity. Take it one possession at a time, game at a time, and put ourselves in a position to win,” Antetokounmpo said on an NBA Interview.

Hopefully the Bucks follow Giannis’s advice and start winning again. 2021 Championship was a great year for them, hopefully the can bring 2022 Championships home too.
