These were fashion trends in the mid 2000s that were all about being bold and making a statement. Tik Tok is a main source of this comeback, as many of the Tik Tok trends are brought up by Gen Z to dress like a fashion icon from fifteen years ago!

This music video has many fashion statements popular in the 2000s such as colorful butterfly clips, clashing patterns, chunky knee-high boots any popstar from Y2K would have rocked.
Another modern day celebrity, Bella Hadid is also living for many Y2K outfits as she is seen wearing cargo pants, denim oversized jackets, and many many sunglasses paparazzied, and even on her own Instagram feed.
